From Saturday 1st November 2008 to Wednesday 31st December 2008, sellers who list item(s) in an eligible category using the Auction-style or Fixed Price-style format on eBay.co.uk with FREE domestic postage, will receive 25% off their total Final Value Fees per item listed.

When is it?

Saturday 1st November 2008 00:00:01 GMT until Wednesday 31st December 2008 23:59:59 GMT (promotional period).

What's included?

• Only items listed in British Pounds Sterling on eBay.co.uk using the Auction-style or Auction with Buy It Now option or Buy It Now (Fixed Price) formats are included.


• Items which are listed using the Auction-style format with a Reserve Price are included in this promotion.


• Any item listing previously scheduled to start between Saturday 1st November and Wednesday 31st December 2008 will qualify for the promotion.

• Eligible members include all users listing on eBay.co.uk who offer a FREE domestic postage service within their P&P options. Specifically, the following criteria need to be met:


• Domestic postage needs to be set to "Flat: Same cost to all buyers"


• The first domestic postage service needs to be specified and "0" needs to be entered into the "cost field" or the "Free P&P" tick box needs to be ticked.


• Insurance must either not be required or have its cost set to zero


• Postage service should not be "Local Delivery/Pick Up" or "Other"


• There cannot be any surcharges


• If the listing is a multiple item listing, the postage cost for additional items must also be zero


• Sellers can list items with any starting price to qualify for the promotion.


• If sellers re-list an item between Saturday 1st November and Wednesday 31st December 2008 that had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-listed item will qualify for the promotion.

What's Excluded?

• Apart from the categories listed in the "What's Included?" section, items listed in any other categories are excluded from the promotion.


• Multiple-Item listings in Auction-style formats (also known as Dutch Auctions). See the full details about Multiple-Item listings.


• Identical listings that do not comply with our Duplicate Listings policy. See the full details about our Duplicate Listings policy.


• Any item listed between Saturday 1st November and Wednesday 31st December 2008 but scheduled to start after the promotional period will NOT qualify for the promotion.


• Any items listed which do not comply with eBay's Listing Policies or Prohibited and Restricted Items Policies.


• Only the Final Value Fee will be reduced. All other eBay selling fees will still apply, including but not limited to Insertion Fees, optional Reserve Price Fees and all Listing Upgrade Fees such as "Gallery Plus", "Subtitle", "Bold" or "Highlight". See the full details about eBay fees.

Members listing using the Auction-with-Buy It Now format will still be charged the Listing Upgrade Fee for Buy It Now.

Further information

• If the item qualifies for the promotion, the invoice will indicate to the seller that they have received 25% off their Final Value Fee and have been charged the Final Value Fee at the reduced, promotional rate.

For sellers listing with any tool other than the latest version of the Sell Your Item form (SYI 3.0) the promotional price will not be shown during the listing process. Instead the discount will be reflected in the "View Account Status" section in My eBay, as well as in your next invoice.

General terms

• eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.

The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

All items listed for sale on eBay Motors.ie in Euros (EUR) in the below sub-category of the Cars, Parts & Vehicles category (apart from those items or listings detailed in the "What's Excluded?" section below) using the Auction-style are included in the promotion.

Cars, Parts & Vehicles > Cars If a seller re-lists an item during the Motors free Listing month (Wednesday 1st October to Friday 31st October) that had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-listed item will qualify for the promotion. If the re-listed item sells and is eligible under the eBay re-list policy, eBay will refund the promotional Insertion Fee paid by the seller to re-list the item. Sellers listing items using the Auction-with-Buy It Now format will still be charged the Listing Upgrade Fee for Buy It Now.

What's Excluded?Any items NOT listed in the sub-categories of the Cars, Parts & Vehicles category as detailed in the “What’s Included?” section above. Any items listed using the Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) and Classified Ads format on eBayMotors.ie. Any identical items listed that do not comply with our Duplicate Listings policy. See the full details about our Duplicate Listings policy. Any listings which do not comply with eBay’s Policies including the Prohibited and Restricted Items policies. Any item listed during the Free listing Month of October but scheduled to start after the promotion has ended will NOT qualify for the promotion.
